What Brazier Labs is
Brazier Labs LLC is a small, independent software studio. We build professional tools for mobile platforms and publish them ourselves: the products carry our name, ship from our own developer accounts, and are supported by the people who made them.
We are not an agency and we do not take client work. Everything we release is our own — conceived, designed, built and maintained in house.
How we work
- Small scope, finished
- We’d rather ship one focused app that does its job completely than a platform that does ten things adequately.
- Native to each platform
- An app should feel like it belongs on the device it runs on. We build with each platform’s own tools rather than a lowest common denominator.
- Respect by default
- Your attention, battery and data are borrowed, not owned. Our products are built to ask for as little of each as possible.
- Maintained for the long run
- Software isn’t finished at launch. Every release is planned around years of updates, not weeks of promotion.
Where we are today
The studio is young and says so plainly: our first applications are in development, and none has shipped yet. Our Apps page introduces the tools we’re developing for skilled trades and field inspections. Store links will be added as each product launches.
Planned business model
We plan to earn revenue from our own applications through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Depending on the app, purchase options may include a paid download, a one-time in-app purchase or a subscription. Pricing and available purchase options will be stated in each app’s store listing when it launches.
The relevant store provider will process customer payments and remit the proceeds to Brazier Labs LLC under its developer terms. Our first apps are still in development; this is our planned model for revenue after launch.
