FitterForge Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 8, 2026 · Last updated: September 8, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to FitterForge, developed by Brazier Labs (Brazier Labs LLC, “we” or “us”). For questions about this policy or your data, contact developer@brazierlabs.com.
FitterForge works on your device. It has no accounts, advertising, or analytics. We do not receive your calculations, unit and precision settings, or Angle Finder sensor readings. If you choose to email support, we receive the information you send as described below.
2. Calculations and local settings
All calculations are performed on your device. FitterForge does not send calculation inputs or results to Brazier Labs.
Your unit and precision preferences are saved locally on your device so they can be used when you next open the app. These settings are not sent to us.
3. Angle Finder and device sensors
Angle Finder uses your device’s sensors to measure angles. Sensor readings are processed locally on your device to provide this feature and are not sent to Brazier Labs.
4. Clipboard
FitterForge copies a result to the system clipboard only when you choose the copy action. Results are not copied automatically or sent to us. Once copied, the result is handled by your operating system and any app into which you paste it; system clipboard history or synchronization may apply depending on your device settings.
5. Optional support email
The support button opens an external email application addressed to developer@brazierlabs.com. Opening it does not send a message. You can review, edit, or discard the draft and must confirm sending yourself in your email application.
If you send a message, we receive your email address, any name included with it, the message content, and any attachments or other information you choose to include. We use this information to respond to your request, investigate the issue, and provide support. Please include only information needed to explain your question.
We do not use support correspondence for advertising or add your address to a marketing list. Your external email application and email provider handle the message under their own privacy policies.
6. Support email storage, sharing, and deletion
Support correspondence is stored in our email systems and processed by email service providers as needed to deliver and store messages. Access is limited to people who need it to handle support and operate those systems. We use access controls to protect correspondence against unauthorized access.
We keep correspondence while a support matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards when needed for follow-up, or as required by law. When it is no longer needed, we delete it. We do not sell personal information or share support messages with advertisers. We may disclose information when legally required.
To request access, correction, or deletion of support correspondence, email developer@brazierlabs.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. Use the address you contacted us from and identify the correspondence so we can verify and locate your request. We delete correspondence we no longer need, unless retention is required by law, and explain any such exception in our reply.
Deleted messages may remain in service-provider backups until those backups expire under the provider’s retention cycle. Deletion from our systems does not remove copies held in your own mailbox or by your email provider.
7. How to delete local app data
- Android: Open your device’s Settings, select Apps → FitterForge → Storage (or Storage & cache), then choose Clear storage or Clear data. This resets saved preferences. Clearing only the cache does not remove all app data. You can also uninstall FitterForge to remove its local app data. Menu names vary by device.
- iOS: Open Settings → General → iPhone Storage (or iPad Storage) → FitterForge → Delete App. Use Delete App, since Offload App keeps documents and data.
If your operating system has included app data in a device backup, manage or delete that backup through your device or backup provider’s settings; restoring a backup may restore preferences. We do not have access to your device backups.
Uninstalling or clearing app data does not remove a result already copied to the clipboard or pasted elsewhere. Clear clipboard history using your device’s controls, where available, and remove pasted copies from their destination apps separately.
There is no FitterForge account to delete. Local data stays on your device, so we cannot remotely delete it. Removing local app data does not delete emails you sent us; use the support email deletion process above for those messages.
8. Visiting this policy page
This policy is published as a public HTML page and does not require an account. Visiting brazierlabs.com is separate from using FitterForge. The website’s handling of standard server access logs is described in our website Privacy Policy.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app or our data practices change. The latest version will be published at this URL with an updated date.
